Anza Borrego Camping Trip

We just had our second camping trip of the semester, this time in Anza Borrego Desert State Park! On the first day we set up camp and had fun by the fire and hoped it wouldn't rain. The next day we set out to explore the slot canyons and abandoned calcite mines. While at the mines, we got to see some wind caves too. After another fun night around the campfire, we decided on one more last minute hike before heading out. We arrived at a beautiful oasis with palm trees and mini waterfalls. After the hike, we started home but stopped in Julian for some world famous Julian Apple Pie!
